An international investment firm, DBO Partners, is a blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities. DBO wanted to preserve the rustic character of the historic Burlingame building. This was achieved by highlighting the original brick walls, exposed beams and rafters. At the top of the stairs the glow of a luminous panels mimics a skylight while offering a streamlined aesthetic.
