Our design team set out to honor the unique structure of this ‘Round House,’ starting from the main entrance with in-grade uplights to enhance the Shou Sugi Ban siding. The concentric hallway is traced with a discrete linear LED allowing the entire core to glow. A large circular skylight in the kitchen has a warmth at night due to a carefully detailed and concealed linear LED. The minimalist yet dramatic approach is carried to the landscape of this tucked away Los Altos home.
